Sliders and preview display very slow on 15.3

I have just updated to latest version 15.3. Now I note, that sliders jerk when moving and it takes very long, to get a sharp preview. 12 core  and 64 MB RAM, brand new machine.

How can I get back to 15.2??

  Just a data point. I am getting instant response on a Sony A7r-iv file adjustments, luma mask etc.

  Do you have a GPU in your system? I am using an AMD system with a Nvidia 2070 with Studio Drivers.
