So after yesterday's shoot we copied everything into our backup hard disk and today directly opened the session from the hard disk as we were using a different system this time, we did the shoot and made some adjustments too but in the evening when we opened the session there was no trace of the images.

Can anyone explain what happened or *hopefully,* where I could find all the images I shot for my client this morning?

  First of all, just to make sure, you did shoot a session, right? Because if you used a catalog and if the catalog was referenced, everything would be explained (a managed catalog should have been fine). Did you open the session folder and confirm that the image files aren't there?

  By "copied everything", do you mean that you copied the entire session folder to your backup drive?

  Do you still have the original session in its original location?
