Topaz Denoise AI and Capture One 22
I am having problems when I use capture one and Topaz Denoise. I use capture one as my main raw editor, I am sending the image to Denoise AI but when I get it back to capture one it is just an under exposed black image.
I contacted Topaz Labs and after a few days and a few back and forth emails this is what they told me: "Hi Andres,
Thank you. I really appreciate that. After several tests we run, it seems like the conflict is on Capture One side. We've tested the DNG processed from DeNoise AI out of the ORF image in both Capture One 2022 & Capture One 2021. Interestingly, Capture One 2021 has no issues opening up the same DNG and it doesn't open up black in there. It's only Capture One 2022 having this issue. I don't know if this can be some issue with v2022 reading the metadata but Capture One Support should be able to determine that. I'd recommend you reach out to them and ask them. If you reach out to them, I'd recommend you tell them that Capture One 2021 doesn't have this issue. We've also tested the file in several other photo-editing programs like Photoshop and Lightroom Classic and none had any issues opening up the file."
Any help would be much appreciate

Hi Andres,
The help should come from the Capture One staff rather than from the users participating in this forum. I would suggest to send a request to the C1 staff, using the "submit a request" link at the top right corner of this page.

Hello Andres; thanks for the explication of your issue. I have occasionally seen similar issues here when using 'edit with…' or 'open with…' and ON1 NoNoiseAI. Can't confirm 100% but it appears to occur when dng is the output to NoNoiseAI. This happened with my previous intel-based MBP. I have not tried the DNG > NoNoise with the new M1 MBP.
It's very interesting to me that you're experiencing something similar. have you observed if it occurs with other output formats such as tiff or psd?
