When I select 'edit with Adobe Photoshop' a PSD is created and opened in Photoshop. (latest version)

The preview is also there in Photoshop and I can even modify it. I do get this message 

'The created image is not supported by Capture One.' though everything is working fine.

Anyone else getting this error message?

    Yes, I was working on a scanned tiff file, then selected 'edit with Affinity Photo' as a tiff, and I got that message. I completed the edits and it returned with a good tiff variant. Everything was fine!

    Thanks for the feedback. Agree, the "edit with" (although I get the error message), does work with Topaz. Not sure why the message can't be fixed. It has to be a bug in the software.

    I get this when I pick the ZIP compression on TIFF export for editing in GIMP.
    After editing and overwriting/saving in GIMP, C1 shows this error when trying to view the .tif file.
    This does not happen on an uncompressed version.

    It sounds related but also different, since you all report the resulting file in the end works fine.
