Capture One 22 .Net Framework Error

FirstName LastName

Hi

I am trying to run the trial version of Capture One 22 and keep getting an error stating i need to install .Net Framework and asks if I would like to download it. However when I click yes to download nothing happens.. I have googled the error and no-one appears to have a solution. Anyone else have this issue and know how to resolve it?

    I, too, am getting this error after having downloaded the full version (9/13/2022)...I found the .NET Framework 4.8 installer package on Microsoft's website, and tried to install it...However, the installer indicated that I've already got the latest version installed on my system...So, what gives, CaptureOne?

    Try installing the .NET 6 Desktop Runtime

    This helped others that posted the same issue before.

    I have the same problem as FirstName LastName, tried the installation of .Net 6 Runtime - same malfunction notification as before. What can I do?

    C1 needs both 4 and 6. So in your case additionally install 4.81.

    Hi, I have the same Problem and after checking all the release notes and reading a lot of similar messages as here I tried to install all required .net versions. I installed framework 4.8.1, I checked for .net runtime 6 and I'm still facing the same error message when starting C1.

    This is very annoying, to say the least. Did someone find a solution? How can I revert to previous working C1 version. This is not an acceptable situation!

    I;ve had the same problem,installing framework 6 does not help. I found an older download version of Capture one on my PC 8(Ver 15.2.2), uninstalled the 15.3.3, and installed after that 15.2.2.

    Now it works again. This was the only possiblilty I found to start capture one

    Did you install the Desktop runtime? 

    It's the middle option here. Most probable you need the x64 option. You can confirm your system type via [start > type "about" > enter to open "about your PC"] which will show your operating system and processor are x86 (32-bit) or X64 (64-bit).

    I installed .NET 6 Desktop Runtime and it now works..!
