Your second desired functionality already exists in C1.

The "Adjustments Clipboard" allows one to select/deselect any individual adjustment before copying adjustments to a target image. This includes the ability to select/deselect individual layers.

If you cannot find the "Adjustments Clipboard" in your workspace, you can add it as a tool yourself.

The new masking is Lightroom leapfrogged every other converter at least insofar as the ease of isolating Subject and/or Background, and intersecting masks. It is truly a remarkable feat they pulled off.

C1 still does a better job of raw conversions (at least Fuji and EOS R5/6, which I have experience with), and I remain frustrated that LR *still* only offers a truncated tool set to apply to masks.

Nonetheless, for portrait photography (and others who frequently use masks) the new LR functionality is extraordinarily powerful. And while I have not tried ON1's new masking, it seems clear that C1 is falling behind in this area.

Here's to version 23 and the re-establishment of C1 as the premier converter!
