Capture Pilot seriously need some updates
It's been a long time since Capture Pilot left behind without updates and yet there is no alternative solution. Capture Live requires an internet connection while Capture Pilot just works with a network. But still, it's very difficult to set the connection between iPad and Mac.
Capture Pilot is hard to use in many cases just because it's not a great app. When was the last time they updated? Instead of C1P iPad version, why not focus on Capture Pilot so that people can see and control right away?

I think we're likely to see Capture Pilot deprecated as they continue to build-out and improve on Live, given that it's a paid product.

I highly disagree for these reasons:
1. Capture Pilot works without internet connection unlike Capture Live. You can set a local network without Wifi which is a huge plus. But Capture Live is cloud based so there is no way you can replace it.
2. Capture Pilot provides remote control through app while Capture Live cant. Capture Live will never provide camera control
3. Capture Pilot is part of Capture One Pro itself while Capture Live is a DLC. That's a huge difference.
Therefore, I dont think Capture One can easily ditch Capture Pilot as long as they dont replace it.
