Still no stacks — but maybe closer
The latest release of C1Pro continues to fail to implement stacks (the ability to group thumbnails and variants and view said group as a single item, the way both Aperture and Lightroom did), which is a shame, as it's such a clearly useful tool.
However! The new Culling window shows some elements of this capability, with a display format that's very reminiscent of Lightroom's standard browser. Similar images are grouped in the culling window into connected tiles; it would be a small step to have the tile group 'close' into a single tile, and another step to make that part of the main browser window rather than a separate one.
So, maybe we're a little closer to this feature. Who knows?

I am waiting for this feature since I started using C1 about 3 years ago. So many updates and great new features since them but these small things would make C1 realy the best photographers companion tool. I also thought that the new culling tool could be the breakthrough on the way to stacks of jpg+raw at least - but unfortunately it only works in a separate window and not in the regular browser. So my vote again for this feature.

hi Mike,
how right you are, I too used the stacks in Lightroom, and really miss it in C1
