What iPad is recommended for C1?
The new iPad Air has the M1 while the new iPad Pro has the M2. Is there one that is recommended to use ? Also what storage is suggested?

Personally I have 512 gig on a iPad Pro 2018 running iPad OS 16.1 with USB-C. It runs fine, Has anyone done a speed test for transferring files and copying 150 gigs of raw files to a Samsung T5, instead uploading of 150 gig over the web. I might consider getting a 2021 M1 iPad Pro 11inch, even is the thunderbolt speed had be handicapped by Apple.

I will be purchasing the 2022 11" iPad Pro 256gb wifi version, sometime mid-December. I just took delivery of a Glyph 1tb Thunderbolt SSD that will be dedicated to this iPad. I will get the pro version if iPad for one primary reason. The USB-C bus is TB-3 making for snappier image transfers.
I'm not understanding Brian's comment about TB speeds being handicapped by Apple. I've read that the data transfer speeds are much better than standard USB-C enabled iPads.
