Noise reduction effect not showing in 25% or fit preview mode. Only visible in 100% which is not the ideal preview mode when editing.
Hello I would like to ask if there is a way to make capture one show the actual effect of noise reduction when in 25% or fit preview mode. Currently it is only visible in 100% which is not the ideal preview mode when editing.
100% preview mode can be also useful when you want to see the details of the image but most of the time I prefer using the fit preview mode but the only downside is that I cannot see the actual quality of the image.
I hope there is a way to see the actual image with fit preview mode. Maybe I am missing something and thats just how every raw editor works. I guess actual image quality on preview modes below 1:1(100%) is just not possible.
Thanks.

You could try turning on recipe proofing. This shows what the exported image would look like.
I find C1's downscaling of full res to a smaller on screen fit is somewhat soft making images seem less sharp than they are. To overcome this you can use recipe proofing of a smaller output size, e.g. 1920px longest edge.
