Improve and update Capture Pilot, not killing it!

I'm serious concern that Capture One is killing Capture Pilot! When I asked several technical questions related to Capture Pilot's problem, they only said this, "Just use Capture Live". Is this how they justify it?

The truth is, Capture Live is not even ready to use professionally or far from being useful. I kept sending feedback to fix and improve critical issues and yet, they did nothing with C1P 23. Since many users complained about C1P 23 so much, I highly feel that Capture One lost their future plan. Now, LR CC is performing better than C1P according to many test videos from Youtube.

Since many people believe that Capture Live is replacing Capture Pilot, I have to disagree with 3 big reasons:

1. Capture Pilot works without internet. Since Capture Live only works with cloud, you must get an internet access or otherwise, it's useless. I've seen many studios without the internet access and even it does, because of many people and staff accessing wifi, it cause many network issues such as slow loading speed and unreliable connection. What if you shoot outside? There is no internet connection at all. That's why digital techs bring a separate router to connect between each devices for Capture Pilot.

2. Capture Pilot can control the camera. Capture Live cant even do that which is very handy. Even if you tether with your computer, it's better to have an iPad with Capture Pilot especially if you are far away from the computer. It sucks that C1P is not updating Capture Pilot for a long time.

3. It's free. Seriously, Capture Live is charging $10 per month for so call professional features. Capture Pilot is part of Capture One Pro and they just wanna take it away by forcing us to pay with less and poor features. It's a cheap and easy way to share monitors while we shoot so why would anyone trying to remove Capture Pilot?

If they truly wish to replace Capture Pilot with Capture Live, they seriously need to updates and adds features to Capture Live to replace Capture Pilot completely or otherwise, we lose features that we've been using for a long time.

So I can stop searching for the "capture pilot" tab?
So it is no longer part of C1?

That's definitely a downside. How can we now share live-pictures for client during a session in our wifi-direct workflow?

Just wanted to drop in and +1 point 1 - Internet. I can count the venues I've had to work in that have ANY internet connection on a single hand, let alone those that have actual workable internet.

Anything that requires an internet connection is instantly DOA. Please don't fall into the trap of assuming everyone is in plush, expensive studios in London and Berlin :(
