Discount code + Black Friday offer
Hi, I tried to use a supposedly valid discount code on top of the Black Friday offer (I used the "Enter promotional code" box in the checkout window) but the total price did not change. Is a discount code incompatible with the Black Friday offer?

Sorry, I forgot to mention I wanted to upgrade my licence (22->23)

I have a Captute One 21, but I can't upgrade to the 23 version with the 40% discount either. Either they have some kind of bug, or they only have a discount on the first purchase.

Only ask because I haven't seen a C1 YT discount code in years.

Just noticed the discount codes are usually for the first 100 buyers, so I may have tried a tad too late...

I am having issues as well. After receiving the email, the same day pricing was less then it is today. The upgrade price with and without styles was less than $200 each. Now they are $277 and $267. Something not right here and unfortunately I did not do screen shots. Note to self. I really hope they respond here.

Have you tried logging in to your account again and using the "upgrade licence" option through your account? You may have been logged out without noticing it.

Just got a response from them today. Complete disappointment:
"Black Friday discount is only applicable to the upgrades bundled with styles. If you do not plan to purchase styles, I would suggest subscribing to our newsletter to make sure you receive updates on our future discount campaigns, hopefully more relevant for you".
This year is a complete disappointment. The company has become greedy. There is less and less innovation in the product, and more and more money is being asked. Discounts stopped doing even on Black Friday normal. I've been waiting a long time for an opportunity to upgrade, but it seems that in the coming year I will have to use the Capture One 21. And less and less. There are alternative solutions.

I check my license history, C1 v21 was 137EUR (down from 209) as an upgrade late 2020. Wanted to go to v23, but played the game of BF will be better than the 169EUR presale. That hasn't gone well obviously, might need to pay attention to that newsletter.
It is however dissapointing that via discount policy, C1 seems to be trying to get people across to the subscription model. I like the fact that I can keep a version for 2-3 years then upgrade.
