Opening new sessions (bug?)

I'm on version 16.0.1

When you have a session open, before (22), if you would open a new session - that session would open and the one before it would close automatically. Now, every time I open a new session, the one I had worked on before, continues to be in the background, in a separate window. This is super annoying. Say you work for a while, all of a sudden you can have 4 sessions in the background, since you forgot to close them (slows down the CPU!). Also, if you "close" the first session you open (without opening another one up), Capture One then quits. 

This must be a bug, yes? Not a new feature? If it is - how do I turn it "off" so it works like in Capture 22?
