Error message
I'm shooting tethered from my Canon 5DSR to my iMac. I'm on Monterey 12.5.1. I was using Captureonepro22 on free trial. I've literally just signed up to Captureone 23 pro and installed it and all seems to be ok apart from when I go into live view to compose and focus, when I double click on the screen to zoom in it comes up with an error message saying the data type is incorrect or not supported - incompatible property value type.

This sounds intriguing, and definitely shouldn't be happening. Could you report this as a bug with our support team?
I would advise having screen recordings, screenshots, and your log files at the ready so that the team can properly investigate your case.

Hi Jack,
I've sent a request over to the support team for it to be looked into, I've not yet had a response. It's been nearly a week. When I was on the free trial I was using version 22 and did not have the issue, so it's definitely relating to version 23. I've ensured my camera firmware is up to date, my iMac is up to date and I have removed the software and re-installed too. I can zoom in using the slider bar on the top right of the live view, but if I zoom in too far too fast, it disconnects the camera and the error message comes up. When I zoom in using this method, the live view image is pixelated so I can't tell if it's focused or not anyway. It's very odd, and incredibly frustrating as I can't do any tethered shooting until it's resolved.

Okay, fair enough. I've forwarded this info on to our camera team and I'm going to find out if there's something I can recommend.
I've also asked our support team to follow up on your ticket, as you have been waiting too long.0 -
Thanks so much Jack! Hopefully it can be resolved fairly swiftly.

My name is Katie Hayward, I've tried updating my profile with my name but it won't allow me to do it, no idea why.

I've changed that for you, Katie. It might take a few hours for the changes to sync, but I can see your name now instead of "FirstName LastName" :)
