Capture One 23 broke my import Lightroom Catalog function

In version 22 importing a Lightroom catalog would carryover WB and Exposure adjustments.

This is no longer the case for me in version 23.  Only WB adjustments are read. 

Same problem exists on i9 iMac and M1 MBP.  

Anyone else experiencing this?

 

Backstory for those interested.  For my wedding work (2 shooters, 1000+ images) I use LR to upload to ImagenAI for batch correction.  I then import the LR catalog into C1, apply my preferred combo of styles, levels.  Not perfect, but this gets me 95% there and saves me a ton of time. 

Unfortunately I'll have to be sticking with 22 for now.

  Hey Eli!

  Did you have any issues when you imported into C23 with ratings or color tags? Did you go from catalog to catalog or catalog to session?

  Hey Shawn,

  Thanks for the reply.  I submitted to Capture One support and they confirmed that what I'm experiencing is a bug.  Ratings, tags, adjustments... nothing moves over from LR to CO23 for me.  LR to CO22 works fine.  Catalog to Catalog.  I don't believe you can import a LR catalog into a session.

  Yes the LR catalog to session doesn't work. It did work finally work going from LR to C023. This was running on latest version on Monterey. 16 MBP 2021. Hopefully it works for ya.
