Errors occur - what should I do?

The first thing I would check is whether Capture One has the permissions it needs to access the folder where the catalog database file is stored, since it says it is read only. Look in System Settings (Ventura) or System Preferences (earlier versions of MacOS) and the Privacy and Security section.
