C1 Pro 23 quits when clicking the + to add a phrase to an IPTC metadata filter

You can add metadata to the default list of filters (below Date and Keywords). Then you should be able to click the + sign next to that filter to insert a word/phrase to the list.

For example, after adding Content Description to the filters, clicking on the + sign should allow the user to add an alphanumeric item when it is not present yet. This works in Capture One 22, but in Capture One 23 (version 16.0.2.21), as soon as the + is selected, Capture One exists immediately, before prompting for a  backup. When reopened, it offers to send a report, but does not ask for a description of the problem.

This happens when clicking the + sign for any filed where it appears.

I reported this to support, today.
