I am just want to tell you that when shooting tethered with Capture One and your camera, the software takes over control of the camera and disables most of the physical controls on the camera, including the shutter button. However, it is possible to enable remote control of the camera through the software, which allows you to use the camera's shutter button while tethered.

To enable this feature, follow these steps:

    1. Connect your camera to your computer via USB cable.
    2. In Capture One, select your camera in the camera tool in the "Library" tool tab.
    3. Click on the "Camera Settings" button.
    4. In the "Camera Controls" section, select "Remote Release" from the "Shutter" drop-down menu.
    5. Click the "Apply" button.

Once you have done this, you should be able to use the camera's shutter button to take photos while tethered. Note that some cameras may require additional configuration or settings changes to enable remote control of the shutter button, so be sure to consult your camera's manual if you experience any issues. In Capture One, the ability to trigger the camera's shutter using the camera's shutter button while tethered depends on the camera model and the settings within Capture One. Here's how you can enable this feature:

    1. Camera Settings: On your Fujifilm X-T3 camera, make sure that the USB connection mode is set to "Tethered Capture" or "PC Shoot Mode". This setting allows the camera to be controlled remotely from the computer.

    2. Capture One Settings: In Capture One, go to the Capture Tool Tab (it looks like a camera icon) or the Camera menu.

    3. Enable Camera Controls: Look for an option called "Camera Controls" or "Camera Shutter Release". This option allows you to control the camera's shutter from both the computer and the camera itself. Make sure it is enabled.

    4. Test: Once you've enabled camera controls, try pressing the shutter button on your camera while tethered to see if it triggers the capture in Capture One. If it doesn't work initially, you may need to restart Capture One or reconnect the camera.

    5. Troubleshooting: If you're still unable to trigger the shutter from the camera, double-check the camera settings and Capture One preferences to ensure everything is set up correctly. You can also refer to the Capture One user manual or contact Capture One support for further assistance.

By enabling camera controls in Capture One and ensuring that the camera is set up for tethered shooting, you should be able to use the camera's shutter button to trigger captures while tethered to your computer. Kroger survey
