"No Images in Folder" in User collections
I've had issues after closing Capture One where my User collection albums say "No Images in Folder" but still show the amount of photos imported next to it. I don't have a filter on and they are available in my catalog, so I'm not sure why I cant see them in my albums.

Hi all,
First of all, thank you so much for being so collaborative and proactive in the Forum.
We are already looking into this behavior and it would be really helpful for us if you could create a ticket for the support team attaching the log files and the catalog database (only the [Name].cocatalodb file is needed).
Thanks in advance.

I only know "No Images in collection" or "No Images selected" but not "No Images in Folder". Where is this message, in the viewer or in the browser?
Can you paste a screenshot of the whole app?

All of my user colllection albums like the one highlighted don't show any images

That's strange, even the browser on the left says 553 images but it doesn´t show any. Maybe reinstall C1 v23 or go back to an older version with a backup catalog.

I see drive D is red. Where are the missing images stored?

In the drive below that, it’s not pictured in the screenshot but it isn’t red

I'm having this problem too. Especially annoying when there is live sharing and images are disappearing randomly from live too.
Did you contact support about the bug or find any other solution?

I haven't found a solution yet -- although I'm starting to think because I haven't properly uninstalled C1 v22, that it's interfering with C1 v23 somehow.

I have the same problem. I did a fresh install of v23 and same result.

I have done clean install with fresh catalog. Nothing seems to help.
Please submit support tickets on your problems, mine has been now open for a month but no solution yet.. this is basically making live unusable because it is relying to user collections.

I was running into this and it was because I had the Browser pane turned off. Once I turned it back on I can see them.

What do you mean by 'Browser pane turned off'?? We can't see the images to import into capture one. Could you please use screenshot to show it.??
Thanks :)0 -
What exact images (file format and camera) do you have in folder ML...Nadir?
I guess your specific issue is caused by a combination of having raw files from a newer camera which is not supported by your older C1 version (don't know the version but I think the icon is quite old).
Or the images are greyscale images (not supported by C1).

Hi everybody,
in the last weeks i've encountered the mentioned issue more and more.
I currently operate one single huge catalog with around 75000 images. Running on Windows.
In the last few days i went through a lot of images in my folder structure (folder year / subfolder month / subfolder day) and cleaned it up (#delete) do some simple edits here and there
As far is i could observe, for me it happen every time the memory usage of captureone.exe has peaked at around 7,5GB of memory usage.
Suddently when switch to next folder (subfolder day23 to day24) the issue appears, no filters set, no collection select, the counter for the images is showing the correct amount, but no photos visible. Before i updated to the latest build - i've saved my preset/workspace config etc from the %localappdata% and deleted everything.
I've uninstalled the old build, did a fresh install with the latest build and restored only my workspace config (big viewer + seperat edit/browsing window). So far, i experience the issue only once since then - which i saves the log files in %localappdata%
If i get the issue again and have another logfile to compare i'll open a bug ticket.
(i'm working "in" software development, maybe this'll come in handy....)

I had this happen and finally fixed it, at least in this one case (on Mac). I had a folder with several sub-folders but also a hundred + shots in the top folder. Specifically, I've a folder named "Random Stuff" and a dozen sub-folders below Random Stuff and also had 131 shots in Random Stuff itself. I tried syncing, renaming and syncing again, etc. Finally I moved all the individual files into a new sub-folder, synced "Random Stuff" and all the sub-folders finally populated with images, along with the new folder. So it seems if you have files and folders mixed together in the directory it can confuse C1's catalog code. I have some other folders with files and sub-folders mixed together but they aren't behaving that way.

Had the issue and managed to fix it. Go to "File" and click on"Verify catalog or session". Select your catalog and most probably you will get an error, click on repair, and after it should be working
