My understanding was that EIP is something entirely controlled by Capture One, an internal format, so it could be amended to self-inform about required version. A sort of protocol negotiation.

Haze/fog feature would be easier to implement, I think, yet there is nothing even suggested yet. Capture One is very early in use of AI and the feature here goes considerably outside current scope ...
