3. Allow Capture One to display Fuji Film Simulation in Base Characteristics instead of just Auto

You can find the chosen Film Simulation in de Exif Data under "Maker:FilmMode" for example with ExifTool / ExifToolGUI.

3. Just found the SDK is so very limited!

Also agree. As the SDK came I wanted to write a plug-in, but failed because of the limitations. Since then nothing changed.
