you can do this- sort of... make a smart album. in the edit window on the top right side it says preset. save it. make a new smart album and chose it under this preset pop up...

I think that has nothing to do with C1. Check permissions of this HD on your shiny new M2. i bet you have to change it to read write or so for this HD

you just pick the root folder and say search all subfolders. c1will search all and leave the structure as it is. you should end up with the exactly same catalog- just fresh and probably without hic...

save as template and you get a empty catalog with all smart albums, etc. create a new catalog using this template and import all images without moving them. done. right?

on a mac: in finder goto menu hold down the option key u see "library" appear.. find all this and delete: [User] > Library > Application Support > Capture One [User] > Library > Preferences > com....

also- uncheck everything in the Open with Menu. restart C1 and check Affinity again. repair the Library maybe. if nothing works go back to analog photography ;)

idk what's happening there... i would pick the Tiff with AP manually do a obvious change - save it ( with layers) and check if these changes show up in C1. maybe its just some weird handover issue...
