I think the real problem is that C1 doesn’t promote this capability and there is not much sample code or documentation. As a developer I don’t like spending time on something that’s hard to develop...

Usually you would only alert the user if there was a problem. If the backup has completed successfully there is no need to bother the user.

Agreed. There should be a progress window indicating that the backup is happening. But it should close it self after it’s finished.

I am pretty sure C1 doesn’t support this but I think it would be a good addition. Especially with legacy lenses it would be nice to be able to fill in the lens spec and focal length later.
