That's a good workaround. I downgraded to version 22 because of this fault - it completely messes up my workflow.

Same issue. Massively frustrating. Back to version 22 until it's sorted. I don't like being used as a beta tester.

This is happening to me too. And it takes a few seconds to refresh if I do any adjustments, or draw a mask, pretty much anything.

I’ve tried it on a Mac Pro, a Macbook Pro and a high spec iMac 5k which I bought last year. It’s not the Mac. It started after one of the major C1 upgrades.
