I had this issue. I switched off open CL for display but let it on for processing. This fixed the problem.

Before the previews are generated, C1 display the jpeg previews of the raws "as shot" that is processed by the DSLR with its own settings (saturation, contrast,...).Emmanuel

To be sure that the preview is displayed in Prophoto in C1, select the profile in View->Proof Profile.
