Horray I figured it out.It was acting as an overly. By clicking on the hand in the toolbar I was able to remove. Well live and learn. As I say"Always a mouse click away"

Thank you for the responses. No to the right click. I get no other pop up options once that hand is right clicked. I suspect your are correct. Something else is active. I just do not know what it is.
