No to all 3 questions. You can select Generic, make manual corrections and then save it as preset. You would probably have to do this at various apertures / focal lengths though.

no, you can reset the image then do cmd-z to undo the reset. You can also create a Variant and compare them.

You can't stack images like Aperture. Only "Variants" are stacked in CO and that is automatic.

Could Active D Lighting be the issue ? you can turn it off in camera. It does effect raw file exposure not just jpg's.
