Maybe create two separate folders for Capture One? First folder named Sony, second folder called Nikon. Hopefully that'll work.

Mark, I tried your method and opened a .nef file using Affinity Photo, went back to Capture One and chose to 'Edit With' and still no Affinity Photo present, or any other apps.

Is it possible that you've selected an adjustment layer (such as a repair layer) as doing so for me gives the same result?

closed down the computer, came back to it later and the missing images have appeared.. weird.

Brian, I notified the Capture One team yesterday about what I consider to be a bug, bearing in mind that I'm using the Beta 4 version of Capture One. I changed the star rating of an image in iMatch...
