    Well I never, the "failed to image" errors have completely disappeared in v4.6! All files are now readable. 😄 What's more it creates thumbnails and renders faster!

    Glad to help.I think it has something to do with Vista's User Account Control function and NTFS. I've completely ripped UAC out as its a PITA. Switching it off doesn't seen to cure it either.
