Delete & Move to Selects icons in top toolbar keep appearing even though deleted

Images getting stuck in the pipe
Anybody experience files getting stuck in the pipe so to speak when tethered to C1. The orange ring around the shutter button stays lit and nothing comes thru. Is this a cable issue, camera port ...
