It's useless working with jpegs too. I've even presized and sharpened them in PS so it shouldn't have to interpolate but it still looks bad. Thumbs are blurry too.Thinking out loud here, does C1 ...

Hi Phillip, you need to save your preferred setting as the default (under the arrow at the right) and optionally save it as a preset if you have different settings you use for different situations....
