Sorry. One last thing. An image is up on the screen, ready to be edited/modified but all of the sliders are greyed out.

For clarity, my view menu has Overlay, Before/After, Toolbox, Viewer, Browser, and Tools all checked. Thank you for any help.

Thanks. That solved the thumbnail issue not not the non-functioning sliers for exposure, color, etc. etc. etc. It just seems that all of the editing tools, even cropping doesn't work.
