You receive a Capture One license key after purchasing a perpetual license or starting a subscription plan. If you do not have a license key yet, obtain it in our web store.
The license key contains 16 alphanumeric characters to activate your copy of Capture One software. Example: AAAA-1234-BBBB-5678

Log into your account and click on the Manage button under “Plans & services management” to see all product licenses that have already been activated under this account, whether or not you purchased them in the web store.

How do I activate my Capture One trial?
Your active license keys will be displayed under the corresponding products.
You will also find other key related information like:
- the maximum eligible version and the download link to it;
- the number of activations available;
- you can also view your activation history as well as reset seats when you need to activate the software on other computers.
NOTE: Switching from Capture One Pro > All in One, from Capture One Pro > Capture One Studio or from All in One > Capture One Studio does not affect your license key, it will remain unchanged.

1. Purchased via Capture One web store
Click on the View button under “Order history” to see all orders that you have placed via the Capture One online store. You should also have received an email with your order and product information from mailer@fastspring.com.
If your order was placed using this account's email address, you will be redirected to your account on the FastSpring portal where you will see all your purchasing history and payment data:
If your email address does not have a history of registered orders, you will be redirected to https://captureone.onfastspring.com/account/ and asked to enter a different email address. This means you are looking for your order under the wrong account.
2. Studio for Teams and Studio for Enterprise
Our multi-user solutions such as Studio for Teams and Studio for Enterprise are acquired through our Business Development team. They will provide you with a license key via email. If not, feel free to reach out to our support team.
3. Purchased via an external vendor (not in the web store)
If you purchased your license from a Capture One reseller or any external dealer, they should have provided your with a license key. If not, reach out to the seller directly and ask for the key.

I'm prepping a new MacBook Pro and cannot for the life of me get my C1 license going. This is MADDENING.
Why is it allways a problem to get access to my account here in capture one pro. Same problem every year. I am going back to lightroom next year. It is so much more userfriendly and it is never a problem to get access to your account. I have paid, or no capture one has withdrawn my bank account and i can not get access to it. You need to be an it engineer to manage it. I am irritated!!
I can't get a license code to install capture one for my XT3. The email does not arrive.

I Just installed Capture One Pro 23 into my laptop last night. This morning when I turned on my computer to finish my work it was gone. Nowhere to be found. I tried everything suggested to reinstall Capture One to no avail.

I need assistance because I can no longer install Capture One 21 with a perpetual license.
I have already asked assistance for help since the end of May with several dialogue emails, the problem has NOT been solved and the operator is no longer responding.
I followed the uninstall and installation procedures suggested because the sw had problems but the password in my possession and subsequently also a new temporary password sent to me are not recognized as valid.
I urgently need Capture One because I have 4 photo shoots to process: can anyone help me???

I have a License key, but its still not being validated..been a user since 2013 and I still have to face the regularly... and its not a cheap investment considering the back end support
I purchased a licence key o nov 8 2023 but my C1 23Pro is at level 16.1.0.126 Is it the reason why I can't get AI brush? I had try to reinstall it 2 times, so now i can install it once! What can i do to be able to use the new bush? I don't want to repay 349 € .

after updating, my licence key isn't working anymore. It just says, my licence seems to be invalid. I paid for it, annual subscription. How to get it working again?
I'm fed up three times a day (and sometimes buying session coverage) they ask me to connect and give my credentials to check the license what is this story I don't have time to relate to This. The system exaggerates in addition only one computer is informed about the license while I have several it is scandalous to ask the same thing all the time
