PROBLEM
Preview files are not coming up in Capture One.
SOLUTION
The problem with the file preview can be caused either when the custom monitor profile is corrupt/missing or in case the previous folder used in Capture One has been removed and the path to access the thumbnails is not valid.
1. If the folder of referenced images has been relocated, right-click on the corrupted thumbnail(s) and select Locate from the context menu.
2. If the path of referenced images was not changed, then Capture One is looking for the monitor profile which is set at the System level. When Capture One cannot access the monitor profile because it is corrupt or missing, there will be a system-level Profile Error causing the warning sign to be displayed in the previews.
To resolve this issue, create a new profile or choose another profile.
Look for the profiles in the following directories:
- macOS: HD/Library/Colorsync/Profiles
- Windows: C:\Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color

Hello,
I moved the original pictures to a new location. How can I just change the path in order to see the thumbnails in a Session? Thank you
Guillaume.
My solution was to check "global filters" under the View dropdown menu. I discovered that all Raw files were being filtered out. Deselecting this filter solved my issue.
NOTE TO C1 tech: It would be very helpful if C1 showed which global filters are active at the top of grid or image viewer. Or at least include the global filters in the filters panel.
