IMPORTANT: Use online activation to launch Capture One Express.
1. Go to the Capture One Express product page and choose one of the following options:
- Capture One Express for Fujifilm
- Capture One Express (for Sony)
- Capture One for Nikon
Select Learn more. On the next page, press Download. You will be transferred to the download page.
2. You will be asked to log in, or if you are a new user, to create an account.
3. After logging in or creating an account, the download will start automatically. Make a copy of your license key while Capture One Express downloads.
4. After downloading and installing Capture One Express, open the application from your chosen install location. Press on "Let's get started" button.
5. Your browser will open the login page.
Enter the email address associated with your Capture One account, along with your password.
6. If the login was successful, close the window and navigate back to Capture One.
7. Select 'Use License Key'
8. And paste (Ctrl + V, Cmd + V) your Capture One Express license key into the text field.
9. Capture One Express is now activated and ready to go!
If your license key is rejected, try copying it again and check for any extra characters or spaces.
Also ensure that you are using the same Capture One account that you signed up with, or updated, in Step 2.
Note that each license key for Capture One Express has only one activation available (it can be used only for one workstation).

Even if i have internet access it's saying "Unable to connect to the server to lookup profile"

Please, make sure you are connected to the internet and your firewall isn't blocking Capture One's request.
Also, open a browser window, and go to activation.phaseone.com where you should see the following: "Activation service is alive".
In case the connection to the server fails, it will give a 404 or another error. In this case, take the following steps:
- Whitelist CaptureOne.exe from any firewall applications that might be blocking the connection
- Uninstall and reinstall the application

Please note that there is a single download package for any Capture One product variant.
Thus, you can use one product variant at a time.
When you want to use Capture One Express for Fujifilm, just enter the activation key and other details in the Activation window. When you want to use Capture One Express for Nikon, just deactivate the license of Capture One Express for Fujifilm first (go to the main menu and navigate to Capture One -> License -> Deactivate on Mac or Help -> License -> Deactivate on Windows). The next time Capture One is launched, just enter the license key for Capture One Express for Nikon.

I am having the same issue with Capture One 20 for Nikon. I have added Capture One to my firewall and I have uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. And I cannot hear anything from support. I just subscribed yesterday but I am frustrated already and ready to request a refund.
I still cannot activate Capture One 20 for Sony.
I've tried offing firewall for capture one exe.

Please, note that you can use the Capture One Express license key only on 1 workstation.
In case you want to use it on another computer, you have to deactivate the license on the first workstation (or from your account on the website) and then activate it on another computer.

The Express activation key can activate Capture One only on 1 workstation at a time. So if you have another computer where Capture One was activated with the same key, you will need to deactivate it there first to free up the activation seat.
How to deactivate Capture One Express?

I tried different ways, but no result. It worked a month ago. No VPN, router reseted, no other changes. And no activation :(

If nothing from the above-mentioned options helped, try creating a new user on your workstation which won't have those restrictions.

In october I've got Capture One Express for Fuji, installed it and activated.
Last time used it at the end of october, but later updated Win10 to latest release 20H2 . And from yesterdaty i got deactivated key twice! On same PC without any HW changhes.
Deactivated, Reactivated for just one start and on next run CaptureOne says it's again invalid.

From what is displayed in the screenshot, I suppose that you have Capture One on 2 computers.
Please note that the Express license key can be used on 1 workstation only at a time.
If you use the same key on 2nd computer, the software is deactivated on the 1st one.
No I don't have same Key activated on 2 computers.
Pls read more carefully - I've ugraged Win10 to last official version on same PC whithout any HW changhes, so I suppose C1 Activation or Security system have a wonderful BUG.
So I am pushed for smthng weird about it
