Is it possible to make HDR photo stacking, focus stacking, and panorama in Capture One?

When will these functions be available in C1 too? This is something which even beginners as me (have my camera only 3 month) would like to use.

Thanks for putting it to the to do list for the next patch. :-)

    Hi Claudia,

    Thank you for the comment.

Those features are not available in Capture One, but I will also forward you request to the Product Management team for consideration.

Hopefully, your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

What C1’s preferred 3rd party programs for 1-panorama stitching, 2-HDR merging and 3-focus stacking.
    TIA

This is probably the biggest surprise about Capture One 20 as far as I'm concerned. Photo stitching seems to be a prerequisite for many photographers and for C1 not to offer this in Q4 2020 is puzzling.

Having to purchase another application for these purposes is not ideal especially when you are already paying a premium for Capture One.

I too would like to see this being rolled out to all existing Capture One users and not just available in future upgrades.

I hope this feature is added to current users not as a paid update specifically that the 21 version didn't include it

C1 is really weird. I still don't understand the need to exclude such a widely used feature? There's a lot of people on Reddit saying just get Affinity or other 3rd party software. What's the point in spending more money when Lightroom does it for free? The only reason I'm using C1 is to avoid the worms on Fuji files.

I agree with the comments above, I find it quite astonishing that this functionality is not available in C1 and when it was not included in C1 21 I decided not to upgrade.

I can only imagine it is a matter of priorities as I would have thought the C1 developers have all the capabilities necessary to add these features.

I note it is a year since Lily responded on behalf of C1 above, is there any update yet please?

Panorama Photo stitching was one of the features I so badly wanted prior to the C1 Pro 21 release and of course I was disappointed that it wasn't a feature they decided to implement. However in the meantime I got hold of Affinity Photo, which does have this capability, and to be honest I found Affinity Photo to the perfect companion to C1 in so many ways and it also provides me with another missing feature which is to add a cool border effects as well as all the photo editing functionality you might need. Similarly the Noise Reduction capabilities of C1 are poor by comparison to Lightroom and this is another thing they could improve upon which currently requires the occasional use of Topaz Labs NR.

The only issue with all these other additional tools is the round trip and time taken.

So even though I don't necessarily need C1 to do all these other things Lightroom can do, it is a shame they are not available. If C1 really wants to challenge Adobe for the top spot it's not good enough being better at some things, they need to match all the other capabilities as well!

So lets hope 2021/2022 will not only bring support for tablets but also real improvements across the board, especially functionality that is lacking, and address the gap i.e. all the missing bits like photo stitching etc.

Perhaps we can dream on, but I have my fingers 🤞🏼🤞🏼just the same.
