1. Is it possible to join two or more RAW photos together to create a panorama in Capture One?
2. Is there an option for focus stacking in Capture One?
3. How can I make HDR photo stacking in Capture One?
ANSWERS
1. Is it possible to join two or more RAW photos together to create a panorama in Capture One?
Currently, you can't stitch pictures together to create a panorama out of multiple shots directly in Capture One.
Instead, after making the necessary adjustments in Capture One, you can continue working with images, i.e. stitching photos to make a panorama, in the external editor.
To open the previously processed images in an external application, just select Image -> Open With -> third-party application.

In case you would like to import panorama to Capture One, see which file formats you can import and whether those images could be further edited in Capture One.
2. Is there an option for focus stacking in Capture One?
When capturing image sequences destined for focus stacking, you can use Capture One to select the appropriate sequence and then export the images to the dedicated focus stacking application Helicon Focus.
The Helicon Focus plugin for Capture One provides a fully automated roundtrip workflow.
Exporting sequences to Helicon Focus for focus stacking
Processing RAW files and exporting them to Helicon Focus
Using Helicon Focus® with processed variants
Exporting JPEG/TIFF files to Helicon Focus
3. How can I make HDR photo stacking in Capture One?
For HDR photo stacking, select the photos for further editing, then navigate to Image -> Open With -> third-party application and choose the external editor that supports HDR stacking.

When will these functions be available in C1 too? This is something which even beginners as me (have my camera only 3 month) would like to use.
Thanks for putting it to the to do list for the next patch. :-)
Hi Claudia,
Thank you for the comment.
Those features are not available in Capture One, but I will also forward you request to the Product Management team for consideration.
Hopefully, your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.
What C1’s preferred 3rd party programs for 1-panorama stitching, 2-HDR merging and 3-focus stacking.
TIA
This is probably the biggest surprise about Capture One 20 as far as I'm concerned. Photo stitching seems to be a prerequisite for many photographers and for C1 not to offer this in Q4 2020 is puzzling.
Having to purchase another application for these purposes is not ideal especially when you are already paying a premium for Capture One.
I too would like to see this being rolled out to all existing Capture One users and not just available in future upgrades.
I hope this feature is added to current users not as a paid update specifically that the 21 version didn't include it
