1. Will my subscription be a part of the migration process?
Yes, if it has been purchased before November 29, 2018.
2. What does this migration mean for me?
Nothing will change in terms of the subscription use - your contract time and your license key will remain the same. Subscription payments will be automatically migrated to FastSpring and the payment date might be delayed a few days from your normal billing date.
We strongly recommend to login into Fastspring and check payment date and the end date. If recurrent payment day of month or renewal (expiry) date is not correct, please, contact customer support to correct it.
3. Why did my monthly payment price change?
- There will be a different billing descriptor when viewing Capture One charges on your bank statement.
- Should your subscription renewal charge or recharge may fail, you will receive an email from FastSpring with instructions on how to update your payment method. For successful charges, you will receive a confirmation email from FastSpring.
8. How do I update my payment information from now on?
You should be able to update your payment information under "My account" --> "Order history" --> "Go to order history" --> "Account details and payment methods". For more detailed information, please, refer to this article.
9. If my subscription is nearing the end of its term, does it get migrated anyway?
This information is also migrated to FastSpring, i.e. If you have chosen not to auto-renew, then your subscription will end at the end of the contract period.
10. How does migration to FastSpring affect how subscriptions are managed/cancelled?
If you pay your subscription with a credit card, then you will now manage your subscriptions and payment settings in FastSpring.
If you pay your subscription via PayPal, then continue to manage your subscription in My Account on the Capture One website until you have received information on future changes.
11. Who do I contact regarding my subscription (in terms of payment issues, renewal contracts etc.) ?
