Perhaps you should have spent more time eliminating the bugs before releasing the edition. Is this just a way to create a larger revenue stream by needing to upgrade and pay to eliminate bugs in the system?

Absolutely ridiculous how slow these updates are to fix big known issues and especially to catch up to recent mac updates. This isn't the 90s, nobody uses Windows. This is a premium software. We pay the high prices, and we should have the support that comes along.

    Nobody uses Windows?  That's hilarious.

    Still no M1!
Wasn't M1 support supposed to be here in the first quarter of 2021?

    Hi Joris,

    Thanks for your comment.

We continually strive to make Capture One accessible on the newest hardware and operating systems, and we are currently working with Apple to secure the best performance and compatibility for the new ARM-based Mac computers.

We are currently working with Apple to secure the best performance and compatibility for the new ARM-based Mac computers. Native ARM support will be released in an update to Capture One 21 in the second half of May 2021.

In the meantime, Capture One will run on ARM-based Mac computers using Apple’s Rosetta 2 emulation platform. Although with some limitations. This issue will be addressed in future upcoming releases, but so far this setup is not supported by Capture One and should be run by users at their own risk.

Hey Maryna, I understand your PR perfect answer, but it does not address the issue that lives in the C1 community: the development department is lagging behind and you communication on M1 compatibility was at the least unclear and misleading for a while. I see you have a clear communication now on your social media, which is better late than never.

Funnel your excessive marketing funds to your development team and get things up and running. You cater professionals, do not underestimate what that means.

are you expecting to have the USB-C live view with Mac tethering issue resolved in the next update?  Stalling without using a repeater isn't practical.  Thanks!

    Hi Jason,

    Thanks for your comment.

Unfortunately, we cannot comment on future releases as well as bug fixes.

However, we understand how important this issue is for our users and we are working very hard to fix it.

Please stay tuned for further updates.
