How to create a border around an image

You can add a border to an output image by using a Contact Sheet. Contact Sheets support margins, which act as a border when you export the file. This workflow is available in Capture One version 16.7 and later.

Step-by-step guide

1. Select the image(s) you want to export with a border.
   
2. Right-click the selected image(s) > Export to Contact Sheet.

3. Configure the margins to define the border width. 

   

4. Set the Background Color for the Contact Sheet. This color becomes the border.

   

5. Choose JPEG or PDF as the output format.
   
6. Export the image.

The exported file includes the border as part of the image layout, while the original RAW image remains unchanged.
