Adjusting sliders using arrow keys
Hey everyone,
I'm currently testing out C1 and looking to get rid of Lightroom because I'm sick and tired of the Adobe RAW conversion to the R6 R5 and R3 files, Adobe is absolutely terrible in this regard and I've found C1 to be superior.
My question: In Lightroom, I am able to hover over each slider that I wish to make an adjustment on, and change the value using the up and down arrows without first having to click the slider to activate it. In C1, I have to click the slider first and then use the arrow keys to make the adjustment. Is it possible that there's a setting in C1 that I can change, so that way I don't have to click the slider each time I want to make the adjustment with my arrow keys? Having to click each time I want to make an adjustment is a waste of several thousand clicks per event.
Thanks so much for your time,
JT

I'm not aware of that feature in C1. Someone else might chime in.
You can use the tab key (or shift-tab to reverse) to select the numeric portion of an adjustment and then arrow keys to adjust by increments. Or just type the number you want.
Also, you might look at the C1 Speed Edit feature, holding a keyboard key and then arrow to increment. For example, select an image for editing, hold S for Shadow and press the arrow keys to adjust. There is a list of Speed Edit keys under "Edit Keyboard Shortcuts" in the Edit menu (on the Mac, not sure about Windows).

I have a mouse with a center scroll wheel and it does what you are wanting to do. I like it even better than having to use the arrow keys cause my hand is already on the mouse.
I just hover over a slider and roll the wheel.
There is a setting in Preferences > General. Check the box next to "Scroll wheel changes slider value"
It works with the Speed Edits also. eg. Press Q and roll the wheel to adjust the exposure.0
