Hasselblad X2D
Not currently planned-
Going to have to switch to Lightroom after 12 years of using Capture One. Don't understand why you guys wont support the RAW fils for Hasselblad X platform.

Long time Capture One user, I finally purchased my dream camera, the X2D, and found out that C1 does not support it. Must say I am very unhappy about that. I do understand that some rivalry between Hasselblad and Phase one is to blame, but guys this is 2024, time to shake hands and get on with life.
Pleas do whatever you need to do to get support to the X2D, Thank you.

Im sure everyone like me is willing to pay two or three times more for C1 if we could use it for Hasselblad.
If I was Hasselblad I would pay C1 millions for a C1/Hasselblad version to sell many more cameras.
ITS ALWAYS OLD GRUMPY MEN BEHIND PROBLEMS LIKE THIS

old grumpy man syndrome has ruined the world. better get used to it ;)

I agree, you see it around the world both in small and big matters. Happy Thursday from an old man but not grumpy.-)

No way I’d pay 2-3 times more. Other software has improved greatly and C1 has missed the boat. No longer upgrading for me.

I add a request, build a BRIDGE between Capture one and Hasselblad!
2 -
Please add Hasselblad support. Going back and forth between softwares is the biggest pain in the workflow and I'm personally going to have to leave Capture One. I wish I hadn't paid for the annual membership. I mean, can't the people in charge get over it already? If color profiles are so important than why are all the Canon R5 colors so bad in C1? I already have to fix the color issues in Photoshop since I upgraded to the R5. What is it going to take for the companies to work together?

Paying $50,000 for Phase wasn't enough -- when I want to use C1 for a few days with a Hasselblad -- it's not supported in my paid-for Pro Subscription.
It's time. Seriously. Don't make someone else come out with a better mousetrap, that's what happened to Final Cut Pro when Premiere came along ehh?2 -
Adding my name to this list now that I’ve found it!
Please build those bridges with Hasselblad. Other software is improving all the time and you will eventually lose us “dual” MF users as paying customers if nothing happens.3 -
Sad to say this but I think as a company they have other things higher on the list right now, like will they have a job tomorrow.

Having used this product with my Fujifilm cameras, the constant asking for money got old. It was a good product though and "everyone" seemed to praise it.
Well, I have the full Adobe Suite now and frankly, Lightroom has fully caught up - and it is not a secret.
I know 12 people who used C1 - all have switched and I am the only one with a Hasselblad. More third party support, less annoying sales pitch, and better looking images. Supposedly even better xtrans support (why I went to C1 in the first place seems to no longer be the case).
C1 will become wordperfect office. Just how they have managed their own fate. Embrace collaboration or die. People loved wordperfect. No one even remembers it now for the most part.

Dear SFA,
Appreciate the comment. I wrote Capture One asking for the upgrade. Have only been here, and have never encouraged the big guy to kill the little guy, so to speak. Capture One and Adobe are fully responsible for their actions and to think one of us here is somehow enabling (your tone was almost accusatory toward me and in that regard inappropriate even though you did so to make a valid point) or encouraging these companies is naive at best.
My statements were facts. Capture One has decided to not support Hasselblad. So, as a Hasselblad owner I and all of us have had to go elsewhere. That is not us encouraging anything - it is us being cast out.

Adding one more request to the list for Hasselblad CFV RAW support in C1. The current situation becomes ridiculous.
Thanks.

Its time for Capture One to understand how important for us is the Hasselblad support!!
Please!!!!

The possible issues around IP are interesting in a historical context. However, it appears that Phase One sees no IP conflicts in respect of multiple manufacturers that use Sony sensors - in various resolutions up to and including Fujifilm's use of the same silicon as Hasselblad. So it remains difficult to understand why one camera system specifically is not supported in C1. The new CFV100/907 is going to bring a whole new slew of users to Hasselblad. In terms of simple business logic, I don't know why Phase One would not want those photographers using its software. However, for balance, I am not gainsaying that there could be a lack of cooperation at Hasselblad's end. If that is the case, I would love to know it so that we could all then petition Hasselblad in the same terms! And while the lack of support remains utterly frustrating for me, credit at least to C1 for allowing this discussion to take place on it forum.

I believe Hasselblads potential resistance has been discussed on this thread previously.
Curious if anyone managed to find a contact or method to share / petition our wishes to Hasselblad directly? Sure this community would get behind that. I tried to email their general support email and received a very dull, cold response. A specific person / email to reach out would be amazing, anyone?

Another vote for Hasselblad!!

By the way, I also tried to probe this with Hasselblad and came away none the wiser.

Like the introduction of a 100mp digital back for 8KUSD? What’s that 30k cheaper than PhaseOne? 🤣

+1 for for Hasselblad X2D / VFC 100c support in C1. Thank you.
