I have problems with the M2 Pro 32GB and the Eizo CS2740. The operation of sliders does not run smoothly and the cloning tool and repair tool run disastrously.
C1 Support has received all the data + videos from me and I hope that something will be done about it now.0 -

...don't hold your breath. The M1 Max and M1 Ultra have been out for numerous years now, and the performance is still awful. ...and worse yet, doesn't scale well from 10/12 Max cores to 20/24 Ultra cores.0 -
what do you expect from a company that is unique with their product: they don't care what you think or what your complaints are.
I have had so many questions and comments on how they are so slow in improving their product that I gave up asking. Plus their customer service is really really set up poorly: it is slow, useless good luck to get them on the phone when you are working and need an answer fast.
i can't wait for a true competitor to arrive on the market because i have been a prisoner of C1pro for many years now as well as my clients. I hope Elon Musk will have an interest in this market soon haha

I think slow export is by design. Everybody is only testing export, but import might be more important. If import is slow, not using all resources, you have to wait before you can start work.
Export can be slower, not using all resources. When all resources are used, you have to wait before doing next job, the computer is using all resources for export.
When export is using limited resources, you can continue work with next job without delay, it doesn't matter if export take longer time, you are working on next job, not waiting for export to finish. If you don't have "next job", well, then it doesn't matter that export is slower, you have finished all jobs.

You're absolutely right, unless your customer wants to take the 2500 pictures with them in the evening. Capture One doesn't use anywhere near the power of the M3 Max to justify an intention. Besides, that would mean you can export and take photos. Both together completely paralyze Capture One.

I believe this export issue is known and Capture One is working on it. This is abnormal behavior.

The broader goal should be to address optimization for modern computers, like those with Apple silicon. The repeated advice to turn off hardware acceleration to stop Capture One dysfunctions is more a confession than reasonable advice. New features are welcome, but I would pay good money to have a speedy Capture One without bugs.

Capture One can provide a better experience in both importing and exporting. The Exporting problem as detailed by ArtIsRight, and highly noticeable when using the app, just illustrates the lazy software development of this app.
The App should be Apple Silicone optimized for both imports, exports, and file adjustments. I'd rather have a 1000 image export finish in 5 minutes, so I can hop back on in 6 minutes, and have 100% of the application resources raring to go for the next job.0 -
1000 in 5 mins might be unrealistic expectations but I feel confident Capture One knows about this and is working on it.
