Brush tool periodically disappearing

This isn't the first time, nor the last time. It might even be the primary reason I upgrade - just to see if this ridiculous bug goes away, alas.

Usually it's fine for a small period of time, then just vanishes leaving me with the cursor. 

The only fix is to reboot the app, and/or restart computer. 

Any news on a genuine fix?

  I am suffering the same with the latest version of C1 v23 and macOS... Brush cursor keeps changing back to a pointer and it make it difficult to use the brush. 

  Not sure if its C1 or something to do with the MacOS pointer control  - it only appeared with V23 though.......
