If Capture One is crashing when applying presets, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Update Capture One: Make sure you are using the latest version of Capture One. Software updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements that can help resolve crashes.

    2. Disable GPU Acceleration: In Capture One's preferences or settings, look for an option to disable GPU acceleration or hardware acceleration. Try turning it off and see if the crashes persist. If the crashes stop, it may indicate an issue with your graphics card or its compatibility with Capture One.

    3. Clear Cache and Preferences: Clearing the cache and resetting preferences can resolve conflicts or corruptions that may cause crashes. In Capture One, look for options to clear cache and reset preferences. Note that this action will reset any customized settings or preferences you've made, so make sure to back up any important configuration files if necessary.

Experiencing crashes when applying presets in Capture One can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Here are some potential solutions to try:

    1. Update Capture One: Make sure you have the latest version of Capture One installed on your computer. Software updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements that can address crashing issues.

    2. Disable GPU Acceleration: Sometimes, GPU acceleration can cause conflicts or instability. Try disabling GPU acceleration in Capture One by going to Preferences > Performance and unchecking the "Enable OpenCL" or "Use Graphics Processor" option. Restart Capture One for Tik TUK Cal and see if the issue persists.

    3. Reset Preferences: Corrupted preferences can sometimes lead to crashes. Resetting Capture One's preferences can resolve this. Go to Preferences > General and click on the "Reset" button. Keep in mind that resetting preferences will revert any custom settings back to their default values.

    Hi Phrank
I'm dealing with the same issue since Capture One Pro (16.2.2.10). It crashes when I try to clear a preset.
Which of the steps above solve the issue for you? I'm hoping I won't have to reset my preferences.
    Thanks 🙏

Bowie Hi, in luckily I didn't have a crash anymore. Sorry I can't tell anymore what has changed. I use "Build 16.2.2.10 (c9540b3)". I think I have just cleaned the cache file.
