Moving a copied mask not working anymore

when copying a layer from one image to another, I used to be able to move the mask (dragging while holding CMD on a mac).

this still works with adjustment layers, but not with the other ones (clone and "repair")
(sorry, not sure how it's called in english, in German it's "Klonmaske" and "Reparaturmaske")

This function has been extremely helpful, when copying masks from one image to another, when the model has only moved a few centimeters.
Now I have to rebuild the whole mask from scratch :-(

  I need the same function!
  I sadly don’t have a solution for you, but I hope that by commenting here the request will have more weight and the feature gets put in place ASAP.
