Is there a way to use the mouse wheel for the move (Hand) tool, like in related programs?

Right now you can't assign pressing the mouse wheel as such a button in the settings. Maybe there is an other way?
That would be a cool feature and make quick editing even better!

  Before using a graphics tablet I used a gaming mouse with several additional buttons and the mouse software provided with the mouse let you assign keyboard shortcuts (here: H for hand).

  Or use the space bar (press hold) for temporarily activating the hand tool.
