Are you trying to tether with it or do you mean that Capture One doesn't recognise existing D7200 files?

... and if you have a new computer, what version of MacOS or of Windows is it running?

Here's what versions support Capture One 20.

(Middle column earliest supported version of the OS, right hand column last supported version of the OS.)

That list can be found here.

    Thanks Ian!

The laptop came with Windows 11. When I connect the camera via USB nothing happens, it's not recognised in Windows as a USB device, nor in CaptureOne as an Import source. If I put the card in a card reader, I can import the images normally, so it's the D7200 that's not recognised somehow, the card itself and the files are OK.

In the meantime, I reinstalled CaptureOne, now selecting all the camera drivers etc. during installation, but the problem still persists.

Well, officially, Capture One 20 doesn't support Windows 11, it seems, so you might expect that some things will work and some things won't, at best.
