Thanks for the feedback, we value your input and strive to be transparent about known bugs and future camera support. However, we are not quite there yet for lens support.
Our goal is to support as many lenses as possible, and we use in-app data to determine which are in high demand. Even if your lens does not have a dedicated profile designed by our engineers, you can still achieve great results using Capture One’s powerful lens correction tools with a Generic or Manufacturer profile: Working with an unlisted lens profile.
Since this is not currently considered a feature or a camera request, I will move this post to the Gear Talk topic. -
Which features of the lenses have Nikon failed to get right?

The Lens Correction Panel only has the Manufactures Corrections for these lenses. Capture One does not list these lenses on the list of Nikon Lenses. As I understand from Grover's online training the Capture One corrections are a step above the manufactures for each lens. Capture One has tested and and made additional corrections for working with Capture One.

If there is a specific Capture One correction then is means that the C1 team have decided they can offer something better than the manufacturer for distortion and/or light falloff, edge sharpness correction or something else.
If such improvements are not entirely obvious needs or may be very much subject to individual user interpretation for their use cases, they may simply work with the Manufacturer profile and leave users to fine tune the results using the lens adjustment tool.
In recent times, as digital market specific lenses with their own built in correction data, have replaced purely optical lenses, the need to offer further corrections seems to have decline in most cases.
Indeed it is entirely possible, technically, that batches of lenses or even individual lenses are data corrected by the Manufacturer as a way of reducing costs of manufacturing. Data based corrections, for the majority of users, would probably be more than acceptable and could reduce the production losses and costs of marginally deficient optical issues that might once have resulted in rejection of a lens.
If individual digital "corrections" are being applied it may be that it is almost impossible to offer a further correction that would work well with all examples of a particular lens, at least as far as distortion correction might be concerned.
