"To which collection/project/album is that image belonging?"
What problem do you see this solving?
If I use a couple of albums with different purposes and titles, but images can be sorted into some or all of them, it is impossible to find out if an image is already sorted into album A when I'm working in album or project B or scrolling through "All images". I want to know to which collections an image is belonging as albums and projects represent a much more specific group of images than giving them keywords. If there was a context entry like "show in project / album", I could easily jump to that specific collection.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Every time I want to know if an image is sorted in collections it belongs to.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
no workaround - grouping of images into collections is a one way process. Finding out to which collection they belong is impossible
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?

I could envision a column in List View showing all collections an image belongs to, with icons for Standard Album/Smart Album, currently opened Album in bold and so on, for improved readability. There should be enough space...
Other options would be welcomed, too; I don't use albums a lot, as I'm confused as to which photos are in which album, so getting a good visibility would be an incentive to use this feature more.

To be honest, an item in the context menu would be sufficient. The overview of a list view (given, some images are in three or more collections) would soon look rather crammed. Also, I'd exclude Smart Albums (for my needs) because this then needs to check which Smart Albums are around and to which of them an image belongs - this will need a lot of processing power and I prefer to keep things slim and quick.
Couple of weeks ago I also asked for a simple full text search for albums / projects. Nothing happened, no answer. 8 and 9 months ago I dared to ask support about that basic function. "Yes, we had that once in Media Pro which no long exists". I'm getting convinced the DAM part is the unwanted step child of C1.
