    You can also use the [ and ] keys, though.

    Thank you Ian.  That is a very helpful hint and answers my question as to resizing.  Another hidden gem of functionality.

    ... and the same thing applies to all brushes, not just the spot tool. Also it's pretty much industry standard, so [ and ] adjust brush size in apps like Affinity Photo, Photoshop etc.

     It was much easier and faster to use the right click to bring up the interface to resize the cursor before starting spot removal.

    What happens on right-click now in version 23?

    In my case  you get a pop-up menu with batch rename at the top

    With the spot removal tool, not the Select arrow, that sounds like another regression defect / broken functionality.

    Can you submit a bug report via "Request Support" link on top of this page?

    Moving to the macOS topic since this is tied to a Capture One release and is not a general photography topic.

    I agree that it could be related to an issue with Mac OS.  Since the problem only occurred recently and I have found no issue with the Select arrow in any other tool, it could very well be a bug.
